✍🏻 Kindergarten Science: The Five Senses

Hello, wonderful explorers! Do you know how we discover the amazing world around us? We use our five super senses! These senses help us see, hear, smell, taste, and touch everything. First, we have our sense of **sight**. Our eyes help us see bright colors, big trees, tiny bugs, and our favorite toys. We can see if it's day or night! Next is our sense of **hearing**. Our ears help us hear music, birds singing, our friends laughing, and even the gentle patter of rain. What sounds do you love? Then comes our sense of **smell**. Our nose helps us smell yummy cookies baking, beautiful flowers, or even rain coming. Some smells are sweet, and some are strong! After that, we have our sense of **taste**. Our tongue helps us taste sweet fruits, sour lemons, salty snacks, and bitter greens. Yum! Finally, our sense of **touch**. Our hands and skin help us feel soft blankets, rough tree bark, warm sunshine, or cold ice. We can feel if something is smooth or bumpy! All five senses work together to help us learn and play. They make exploring the world so much fun and exciting every single day!
